Evie, my cat, stars in this movie along with a flying ball.  My husband and I filmed Evie with a blue sheet on the bed (she refused to act anywhere else - primo Nona).  Consequently, she bounced in the 3^rd scene, thus the addition of the rock and grass to hide her feet.  The wooded area is my backyard with our wood shed in camouflaged.

After finding out that there was a volcano submerged under Crater Lake, I wanted to see it erupt. I took multiple shots of Crater Lake and blended them together for the background matte.  I created the lake ripples and the volcano blast in Maya.  After researching about volcanoes in this region, I found that they would consist of ash, pumice, and steam, as apposed to molten lava.

This was originally for a music video, but the scene didn’t work with the rest of the video’s scenery, which had a lot of bold reds and oranges.  The lady was filmed too close to the back green screen wall, so she unfortunately had a lot of green reflection on her.  The scenery also had the green screen reflection, but to remove all the green would have eliminated the complimentary color.  I removed only the green from the edges.  The flying jar is a creation I made in Maya.  The goal was to make the scene surreal or dreamlike, thus no shadows and the usual lighting.

This time the flying ball is causing mischief around the school.
